Joyetech Teros One French vaping device
The Teros One is an improved and enhanced version of its predecessor, the TEROS, and is designed specifically for those who enjoy tight vaping. It comes with a refillable pod, which I consider a great feature, allowing me to use any flavor I like without being limited to specific types. The Teros One is beautifully designed and easy to use, offering a great way to inhale MTL (Mobility Tolerance) air. Its operation has been simplified to the extreme, with only one button for turning the device on/off and adjusting the power level. This button isn't used during vaping; it's automatically activated by the sensor. All you have to do is fill it with e-liquid and you're ready to go.
The vapor is good and produces a somewhat cigarette-like hit, similar to the vapor production itself. The flavor level is sometimes the deciding factor with these types of devices. The automatic sensor works well and its usability ranges between 250 and 300 puffs, which is roughly equivalent to a pack of cigarettes. Those who smoke more should consider recharging it during the day or having another device ready for use.
The Teros One consists of two components: a 650mAh battery that forms the body and includes a USB Type-C charging port, and a capsule containing 2.0ml of e-liquid and a built-in coil. The capsule is held in any orientation by two small magnets.
The Teros One's battery is regulated by the selected power level, meaning that the higher the power setting, the shorter the battery life. I think the Teros One is a good device and does its job. It recharges quickly (in 15 to 20 minutes) thanks to its Type-C charging port, and it's possible to use it while charging. The Teros One's advertised battery capacity is 650mAh, while the original Teros had a capacity of 480mAh. This suggests that we can use the Teros One for a longer period compared to its predecessor.
Regarding the capsule, which is a sensitive point in any device of this type, since the Teros One boasts good and reliable manufacturing, there is no leakage problem.
The capsule also produces a good vapor. A strong throat hit is possible, but it's not too intense, especially with liquids containing high levels of nicotine. Personally, I emphasize that the capsule's purpose is to provide strong doses of nicotine to satisfy the user's cravings, particularly for smokers and new vapers, such as 18 mg. Some people find the throat hit too strong, especially initially, when they're still getting the hit they get from tobacco. You might temporarily switch to liquids containing nicotine-treated salt nicotine at a maximum dose of 20 mg, which are less common and more expensive, but less potent.
The capsule can be filled with up to 2 ml of any liquid, and a PG/VG density ratio of 50/50 is preferred. The filling method is very easy; simply place the tip of the liquid bottle into the bottom of the capsule and push it down.
The air vents are built into the capsule itself, but they're quite wide. Personally, I don't prefer this amount of airflow. I don't understand why most major companies design such wide air vents in devices meant for tight draws! Overall, I wouldn't recommend it as a cigarette alternative, even though the vapor production and flavor are good. However, as a hookah device, I think it's suitable given its size and features.
